How to use

1. When to Plant : Spring and fall are the best times to grow new grass. Spring planting or patching is best when the weather is consistently above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Fall planting or patching should be completed six to eight weeks before temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. DO NOT INSTALL DURING PERIODS OF STRONG WIND .
   
   
2. Preparation : As with planting any type of seed, proper area preparation is essential; do not lay the grass seed mat over existing grass or vegetation.
   
   
3. Setting up : The Grass Seed Mat is always supplied as a roll and can be cut to size or shape by tearing or cutting it with scissors, for example if you have a semi-circular spot caused by your pet, then tear or cut the Grass Seed Mat to the size of the damaged area that needs to be repaired.
   
   
4. Watering : Proper watering is key to your grass's growth. Once you're satisfied with the turf and the patched area has been filled in, or the roll has been rolled out to the desired area, water thoroughly with a spray nozzle. Don't apply a strong jet of water to the turf. Water 2 to 3 times a day to keep the turf moist until the new seeds begin to grow and the grass blades have reached a height of 5 cm. At this stage, it's best to mow along with the rest of your grass. When in doubt, use more water rather than less, but don't mow when the new grass is wet, as it can pull and damage the new roots.
